Book based on Bollywood film ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai‘ released.

The cast and crew of Bollywood’s film ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ which popularized the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi, released a book based on the movie here on Monday.

Bollywood Hot Sizzling Actor Sanjay Dutt, who starred in this film as Munna Bhai, said that he enjoyed reading every leaf of the book.

“This book has the screen play of the film and it is written very well and I enjoyed reading it,” said Sanjay Dutt.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra who had produced the movie was candid to say that browsing through the pages of the book was all together a different experience.

“When I started reading the screen play I couldn’t put it down and I enjoyed it one more time so much because the point is when we do all that work in a movie it’s a different experience. You can go back study mark it, learn and enjoy it is a very different experience,” he said. (ANI)

Bollywood Meets Tollywood in Kolkata.

The dazzling finale of Anandalok Purashkar 2009, held in Kolkata recently witnessed a bevy of Bollywood Hot Actress Rani Mukherji, Irfan Khan, Asin and Neil Nitin Mukesh along with eminent Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, along with popular names from Tollywood (Bengali film industry).

Anandalok Purashkar, a popular award ceremony in Eastern India, celebrates its twelfth year of felicitating the best on the silver and small screen, television and music.

The evening that brought the glitziest and the most glamorous of the Bollywood and Tollywood fraternity together also had performances by Pritam and his band ‘Metro’ featuring Sohail, Antara, Utpal and Soham; along with sizzling dance numbers by renowned Tollywood actors Suvosree and Hiron.

The awards were given out to the Best Actors- both male and female; best Debutants– both male and female, Best Music Director, Best Director and the Best Film in the film category.

Bollywood Sizzling Rock star Ranbir Kapoor to star in Director Mani Ratnam‘s next Bollywood Upcoming Hindi movie.

After completing the ongoing film Ravana, director Mani Ratnam is planning to do another film in Hindi to be titled Azan. Bollywood Hot Actor Ranbir Kapoor is to star as the hero in the film.

The film is supposed to be a pro-Muslim one. Sources say that the director is in the work of its script. After the completion of Ravana, the shooting of the film will start. No formal announcement has been made yet.

In the season for ostentatious Bollywood weddings the only talk around showbiz right now is who is spending how much on what.

It is estimated that the Shilpa Shetty Raj Kundra affair will reportedly cost the Kundra something to the tune of Rs 5 crore, with the bride’s jewellery alone being valued at Rs 3 crore.

But the mother of all B-town weddings this season is the wedding of Pankti Mehta, the marketing head of Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, where the budget will reportedly surpass the Kundra. Soft-spoken Pankti is the sister of filmmaker Dhillin Mehta who produced Jab We Met and Blue, and she is marrying a US citizen, Jimeet Sanghavi.

A-league actors — Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt and a dozen others are expected to attend the wedding reception on December 5, at one of Mumbai’s five-star venues. The wedding card itself is as thick as a photo album and has nine attachments inviting film folk to the various functions.
